ZAŠTO MATEMATIKA(NI)JE BAUK

Abstract

U ovom prilogu, koji je prevashodno namijenjen onima koji mateamatiku poučavaju u početnoj nastvi, iznijeli smo neke argumente koji idu u prilog tezi da matematika svojom apstraktnošću, s jedne strane i neadekvatnim didaktičkim oblikovanjem, s druge strane,čini i od predmeta Matematika nešto što učenici doživljavaju kao "bauk". Iznijeli smo i neke argumente koji svjedoče upravo suprotno tj. da matematika najvećem broju učenika nije (ili preciznije: ne bi trebala biti "bauk").
