Centralno pitanje ovog rada je šta su prefiksalni glagoli i glagoli s partikulom u njemačkom jeziku. U lingvističkoj znanstvenoj literaturi ne postoji jedinstven stav oko naziva ovog tipa glagola. Rad će s toga dati pregled definicije
prefiksalnih glagola i glagola s partikulom u njemačkom jeziku, njihovih osobina,sličnosti i razlika.
