Istraživanja odnosa nasilja u medijima i nasilnog ponašanja,posebno kod djece, veoma su popularna. Rezultati tih istraživanja su različiti, ali pokazuju da se ne smiju ignorirati utjecaji koje nasilje na televiziji produkuje kod djece. Ovaj problem ne treba istraživati samo medijska kultura nego i pedagogija, psihologija i sociologija.
