Rad je fokusiran na problem nedostatne i neadekvatne individualizacije planiranja brige za osobe sa posebnim potrebama, posebno sa aspekta isključenosti samih korisnika iz procesa nastanka individualnog planiranja njihove skrbi. Kao jedno od mogućih rješenja nudi se primjena Brandonovih magneta brige, koji ne samo da mijenjaju iz korijena pristup planiranju brige već, što je najvažnije, korisnika i njegovu ulogu u planiranju brige stavljaju u centar dešavanja.
